Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the websites, APIs, and services provided by Shasha Technology ("Shasha Technology", "we", "us"). By accessing our APIs or website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Data provided "as is"

All data returned by our APIs is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We aggregate data from third-party sources and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.

2. Not for safety-critical decisions

Our data — including air quality, climate, and risk scores — is for informational purposes only. It must not be used as the sole basis for safety-critical, medical, emergency, financial, or life-safety decisions. You are responsible for independently verifying data before relying on it in such contexts.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not exceed the rate limits or request quotas of your subscription tier.
• Do not share, resell, or sublicense your API key.
• No bulk redistribution: you may not scrape, warehouse, or redistribute raw data in bulk, or build a competing data-resale product from our responses.
• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes or to violate third-party rights.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Our APIs are distributed through RapidAPI, which handles plans, API keys, and billing under its own terms; other products may be billed directly or through their respective provider. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or as stated by the billing provider.

5. Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Upstream data-source outages may affect availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shasha Technology is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted on this page.
